Iran’s representative in Expo 2020 Dubai
Iran Pavilion in this exhibition is located next to the stands of France and Chile with an area of 2014 meters. The design of Iran’s pavilion designed is adopted from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights and has been prepared by considering the slogan “Iran is an ancient and stable civilization, diversity of ethnic groups, host of nations”.
Khashayar Nikzad, CEO of the parent company specializing in Iran Tourism Development, said in an interview with Mehr News Agency: “Start-ups active in three fields, as well as displaying and selling rich and traditional handicrafts, are among the programs prepared for Iran’s participation in this international event.”
In an interview with IRNA, Mohammad Reza Bahraman, head of the Iran Mining House, spoke about the details of the presence of the Iranian mining sector to show the latest achievements and findings of the industry.
It should benoted that other than the mining industry, other industries such as oil, gas, and petrochemical, High Tech, culture and art, medicine, copper and steel, and small industries will show their capabilities during the exhibition.
However, in general, Iran’s goal in participating in this event is to take advantage of new commercial and industrial opportunities as well as the opportunity to compensate for the lost industries after the corona outbreak. Expanding the domestic market at the international level and branding Iranian industries and products are other goals of Iran to participate in Expo 2020 Dubai.

However, the Expo has provided an opportunity to develop Iran-UAE relations, which could expand financially, banking, and trade relations between the two countries.
In this regard, Dr. Farshid Farzanegan, Chairman of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber and head of the Expo Committee of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, said:
“The World Expo is a special opportunity for trade diplomacy to boost exports and introduce the country’s national brand. “To expand trade and economic relations between Iran and the UAE, a meeting was held with the President, Vice President and International Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.”
Currently, the UAE is one of the main partners in Iran’s international trade, so that in 2018, the volume of trade between Iran and the mansion was more than $ 11 billion. However, it hoped that the talks will expand Iran-UAE relations and increase the value of trade between the two countries.
